A bit about me

Kia ora, my name is Kloe

I grew up in a small town in central north island, New Zealand.

I am a mother of two boys Onray who is 4 and Harlyn who is 2.

When i first became a mother in 2014 I started being more aware about everything in my home, starting with my fridge and makeup bag; what I was putting into and on my body. Then all the cleaning products and lotions we had and what society thought was 'normal' but is far from. From plastic packaging, to air fresheners, genetically modified foods and all the chemicals used.

And all the 'stuff' you accumulate when having children. I vowed to start living a minimalistic, toxin and plastic free life. And this was the beginning of Kākāriki Green.

I noticed that there was a gap in the market and over the past 3years our society is becoming more woke to the environmental issues we face.

Of course, I am not perfect but this is my journey and its just beginning.
